Actually Jay I don't use the genetic option very much. I find that I get good enough results using BP and SA. The genetic option adds significant time to the training in my experience. It will take the GA anywhere from 2 days to a week before it finally starts training, so I stick with my 12 hour BP runs.

As for the signal bouncing around, I have seen NS do this in the past which is why I refuse to train my nets during the week. One the weekend I run a batch to train each net for 2 hours to bring them up to date for the following week.
