halfscot,
The real problem is the televised media since it is broadcast into virtually every home in the US. ABC, NBC, CBS and especially CNN are all "ultra-liberal" with FOX being the only major network that presents a more-balanced approach. (It results in a kind of brainwash of the viewing public since many people do not have time for other types of news media.)

One area that helps to offset the "brainwash" is talk radio. For example, in Atlanta, we have Neal Boortz locally (national syndication to begin Jan. 4) plus, the syndicated feeds of Rush Limbaugh and G. Gordon Liddy. The ratings for these shows are very good, but since they are a threat to the political brainwash by the Clintonistas, they are viewed with contempt by "official" Washington.

Of course, there are many conservative writers in the print media, but there are more than offset by those with a liberal bent. The internet has become the preferred medium for those of us who are internet active, but still, the vast majority get their information via the "old" liberal TV newscast. I suspect that much of the favorable Clinton approval ratings is the result of voter ignorance due to media brainwash.
