Today in history (the long suffering Qualcomm shareholder version) :

Today is 12/24/98.

Qualcomm now has revenues of about $3.3 billion per year.
QCOM stock closed around $50 a share.

On this date :

In 1997, QCOM had revenues of about $2.1 billion.
The stock closed at about $50 a share.

In 1996, ... (I think you get the idea).

(Let's hope no one can do a repeat of this in about 12 months).
