John Your message is very well done, I would like to add one comment that I feel strongly about. I feel that Our reactions to what could or may happen 01-01-00 will have a BIGGER impact on our economy than all other events combined. This is only my opinion. Given that I would suggest that your advice to have a modest amount of money at hand is well put. I think we are fools to take all our money out of banks and investments, only to make the situation worse. jd
