Some "perfect plan." I think if God had wanted male and female to mate for life he would have chosen a species such as geese which are really touchingly faithful or those those lower creatures in which the males permanently inhabit the genitalia of the females rather than men and women who are almost perfectly designed by instinct and physique for serial polygamy and polyandry.
