It's always gratifying to be proven right, Jeff. I could tell by the way you two keep looking at each other.

Gee, I take time out to blow my nose after indulging in some FEELINGS and now I'm frantically trying to sort through oysters, sex and Dostoevski. THis thread has the feel of a psychotic episode.

While I'm wandering down Parental Memory Line, I'll throw out that my father used to have a few drinks and then get up and read Mark Twain aloud. Only he did it by vocalizing all the punctuation, the way Victor Borge does. It was extremely funny and a big hit with everybody but my mother, who thought it very declasse.
