We live in remote No. Maine and have paid the $9.95 "bring your own access" to Aol for 2 years. Have to agree with Terry that the chats and email alone worth the $9.95...Our primary ISP is a 38.8 dial up for $20....and using the TCP/IP can access Aol with minimal cutoffs, etc. However, can't download large files on AOL...So I end up having to email myself the file to the non-aol acct.!!!
Ps congrats to you that have held thru the FCC issues and ISP attempts to forced bundling....I got scared off, and boy am I sorry I did.....not a very merry Christmas in my house!!!!
Mike
