Goodness, my husband won't let me on the computer at all if you write like that. I will forgive you, though, as I like Joyce. There was a wonderful movie made of The Dead(1988?), John Huston's last movie, I believe. Anjelica was in it. The ending was poignant and poetic. Not a movie for everyone, but wonderful if you like quiet, emotionally powerful movies.
I like McPhee and Twain, also, but I'm an anglophile and most of my favorite novelists and poets are English(well, English,Irish or Welsh.)
