Hi Mohan The crime wave in Mumbai has reached such a threshold that almost anyone can become an extortionist since no one knows who will carry out their threats. And with more than 1/2 the population in Bombay living in slums, they dont need more incentive that money to extort and survive. I met Maya last week at a christmas party. She is goignt o perform at the Roxy in New York in february to collect money for the Buddhist children.
