Hi Apratim,

There is a saying that one never stops learning until 6 feet under. How true it is!! Thank you for showing from a different angle that trade I made is is in essence in getting 100% margin with no interest.

I am sure you already know the symbols for those LEAPS:
LCYMT Jan00 100 put CSCO
LCYAT Jan00 100 call CSCO

tradepbs.com

While there were 129 contracts for the call, there were only 10 contracts of the put representing all my sells.

The way I did it was using a COMBO:

I told the broker: I want a COMBO: Sell 10 contracts Jan00 put CSCO and buy 10 contracts Jan00 call CSCO with a net zero. At first the broker was confused, since this is not commonly done. However, I think this is the best way of doing it instead of you are successful in selling the put and not getting the call unless you give market order.

Thanks for all your contributions from which I have derived benefit.

Regards

Paul
