Hi Emory-

Thank you very much for the URL and text. For the friends I am gently prodding, I don't think exterior ventilating their fireplace will work from what I have read. The problem is that three years ago they had a fireplace "facelift"--new stainless steel liner in the chimney and one of those ceramic fireboxes [brain rot--can't remember the exact name--probably due to too much good food tonight].
