Hello Qtrlytrades,
After a number of days without comment on my story I stopped dropping by. Just thought I would check today after a long week. I guess I did end the story somewhat prematurely.
So you want to know about the morning? Okay.
When she finally awoke, it was approx. 9am. I was in the room lying on the floor when I heard the first sounds of her stirring. I quickly arose, for I wanting to see the first acknowledgement of the previous evenings work?
She slowly lifted herself upward in the bed, her eyes barely opened, I could see her slowly start to focus on me. As she did this she lifted her hand to her face in a slow motion and proceeded to smell her fingers. As she did this she winched. She slowly became aware (unbeleiving at first) that something untoward had occured the previous night. She slowly shifted her weight in the bed, lifting her other hand to her face. Same reaction. She looked up at me, and said in a matter of fact tone, "did you pour water on me?"
I didn't know whether to laugh or take her serious. As annoyed as I was about what had happened I must confess there was a part of me that felt pity on her. I just could not become angry at her. So I was the putz, and treated her gentley. I responded by telling her that no I did not pour water on her during the night. And told her she had one more guess left.
She did not answer any further. We were cordial to each other, but that was more of less the end of the relationship. I drove her home, no breakfast, I needed to get her away from me.
Funny thing regarding this woman, we both live in the same city still and shortly afterwards she began dating a close friend of mine (we were estranged at the time). When I found out about their relationship I couldn't beleive it. I discovered that he even proposed to her, bought the ring and was ready for the big committement. All during this time, I kept thinking to myself if she had ever done the same with him. I did not speak with him for approx. 2 years during which time he had started dating her, moved in with her and proposed.
Several years latter, we started speaking again. Finally the topic of this woman came up! Of course I had to find out. After delicately telling him of that eventful night,...after a moment of silence he looks at me and says, 'I never thought that would happen to anyone else but me'. As it turns out she did this on two separate occasions.
Oh and by the way qtryltrades, no further dating, no marriage, it ended that night. But you did make me chuckle. But my poor friend, all to prove a point!!
Regards
P.S. Happy holidays to all |
