OT - Merry Christmas from Seoul, I'm in Korea for 10 days and I thought I'd check in. Sorry to see that QCOM is at about the same price as when I left San Francisco on Monday. I saw a report on TV that Korean consumer spending is down this year due to the monetary crisis, with the exception of cell phones sales which are continuing to grow. Everyone in Seoul has a cell phone, taxi drivers, students, office workers, just about everyone. They have a lot of sleek cell phone designs that could probably give Nokia, Ericy, and all a run for the money if they were to export them. Saw a taxi driver with a clam shell type phone that reminded me of the Q except that it was more square shaped. They must have a lot of cell sites everywhere because the phones work inside large buildings, and even in the subway. BTW Caxton and Surfer Mike, the subway system here puts BART to shame as far as efficiency and being on time.
