re: Your contempt for Christ does not go unnoticed

I have not said a word about Christ, for or against, except by mistake or inattention. I am neither Jew nor Christian. If anything, I am a Jesusian, or Jesuite, but in a biographical and historical sense, not in a religious sense. I only seek the truth and the whole Truth, by which no one can be hurt.
I am very much interested in the man named Jesus, his history, his thoughts and words, his artisanal and ministerial careers, his suffering, and his death, and most of all, the profound consequences of the church supposedly built on his life for the history of the world and of many people living and dead. As nearly as I can discover there are no contemporaneous literary materials available about him. The gospels, accepted and apochryphal (like Thomas) raise far more questions than they can answer about his life. No birth certificate or death certificate (unless that label on the top of the cross was a death warrant), no DNA traces on medieval winding sheets, no photographs or drawings. We know something of the songs he probably sang, some of the buildings he entered and roads he trod, and the books he read (I think he was obsessed by Psalm XXII). But did he read any of the dirty contemporary novellas that were being handed around among the gymnasium scholars while he was washing their feet and exchanging quips with them in the streets of Capernaum?(e.g. Portam crudam a tergo). There is no evidence that he (like John the Evangelist and St. Paul) was familiar with contemporary neo-Platonist or other Greek philosophy.
These are some of the questions I have about Jesus at this time. Do you have any answers? Does anyone? Do you really think me wrong to ask?. Sincere thanks for your well-meant warning and see you in hell in due time.

"...Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." (Luke 11:9-10)
