Re country songs... I have a NAVR question.

I read somewhere what a block-buster season it was for Sony [and other companies?] since movie sound tracks this year are/were hot, with Titanic's leading the pack. I'm going to have to try to find this article later today but for now, the end of the article was talking about music sales in general, without mentioning companies by name.

The article said that for the first time, Rap music overtook country in terms of popularity. It also said sales of music from some well known singer's names [I'll find the article] were surprisingly low.

So, my question is: How many small labels that produce Rap music or Rap singer CDs are marketed by NAVR? For us to get a handle on how NAVR is doing financially, forgetting about the IPO, this information would be financially meaningful.

Lynn

P.S. Bald Man, I'm not a country singer. My first hit here is classifid as either soul or financial-gospel music.
