You are completely wrong here. Where do you come up with this stuff? Lots of primates masturbate, as do other animals. Male dogs will attempt to have sex with anything including other male dogs, this is true for most male animals. There is a society of primates wherein most conflicts are resolved by sexual contact-the society had lots of female to female sexual contact if I recall correctly. Females being in estrus was not a factor in the sexual contacts.
