This means that people are starting to realize that the economy is not as weak as many had predicted. Another good sign is that capital spending is still strong which implies an underlying confidence in the coming months. These conditions should bolster sentiment for the rest of the market going forward and with the help of better earnings, maybe we'll continue to set new records.
