"Some told you to use the EDIT, COPY and then EDIT PASTE function."
your way is definitely more efficient, i must say. i've been using the edit, copy and edit, paste method forever, and i suppose it has become a case of "old dog new trick". but i think he (the old dog) and i will make a concerted effort to switch to the ctrl+c, ctrl+v method. i suppose that the only benefit i can come with on the edit copy, edit paste method is that one can mouse click right on through without having to switch over to the keyboard.
also, with the ctrl+c, ctrl+v method, one can perform undo and cut functions similarly, by using ctrl+z and ctrl+x. and these 4 keys (z,x,c,&v) are conveniently located right next to each other, real close to the ctrl key. duh. ;)
thanks for the help. |
