I just found "One Hundred Years of Solitude" sitting in our bookshelves! It will go on the bedside table with the twenty other dusty books leaning precariously and threatening over me as I sleep. I just started "How the Irish Saved the World" which Freddy (JF or JFred)recommended- he and CGB (Christine) whom you haven't met, but really need to-- just finished it. "100 years" may go to the top because the cover of this paperback edition has a naked man and woman embracing passionately on the front---MUCH more promising than the Irish book.

What is your book club reading currently?

Our family is x-file addicted. Your husband will love having a boy to blame his secret movie addictions on. I make fun of them all the time, but I'm right there watching. Maybe it's Arnold's pecs...

All right, everybody, new topic for confession!!!
What is your secret passion? The self-indulgence that you would blush to have us catch you doing? THe fantasy that fills any empty, boring moments?
I'll even start.
When the house is empty, I crank up our karaoke machine, put on a Bette Midler karaoke CD and let loose. I become Michelle Pfeiffer sensuously reclining on the piano, I entertain the troops, I drive the men wild.
