If you look at the last article URL you posted, while the US has record meat exports, it's meat imports are even greater. With this kind of competition it's no wonder farm prices are low.

It is hard to figure all this Bobby. If a guy really thought some of these big companies were raking in obscene profits then a guy should have all his money in the stocks of such. On the other hand, I've speculated enough in mining stocks of Latin American properties and surely realize that if the stock zooms on news and sudden earnings, the poor miner sure ain't getting overpaid. On the other hand if there was no such speculation then the mining companies would either cut back or go under and these miners would go from a better than average job for them to unemployment.
