***ot to Zeev ot*** re shrinking vs expanding.

Zeev,

Nice try at getting the White House Council job or was that prosecutor for the house???

First, what's the gross or net margin on "backlog"?

Second, what's the penalty for cancelling an outstanding order?

Third, conversely, what's the bottom line bonus for a new order?

Fourth, what CFO's and / or employees with which companies get improved bonuses or options because book went up?

While I could continue with these rhetorical questions, I'm confident that so could you.

If a company or an industry sector has more billings, most reasonable people would not claim that increased revenues are consistent with a shrinking business.

I won't even get into the DRAM example where the business is expanding rapidly (80%CAGR in bits shipped/billed) yet the revenues are stable at best.

In the Christmas Spirit however, I will do all in my power to see that both you and Katherine are granted a full pardon. <VBG>

Best regards,
Ian
