I read somewhere that the measure of the cup you give is the measure you will get, crushed down and running over. It's better to give than to receive. And if you can't give with a cheerful heart don't do it.

I certainly don't consider myself free from the kind of collective blame you are conjuring here. One can hardly take part in the kinds of blatant speculations we are in (given the stock messageboards we post to) and then point a finger at the next guy for raking it in. On this count I might take admonission for my greed from Mother Theresa. But probably few others.
