HISTORY
Click! began operations in January 1993 when CO-founders Guy Bendov and Chanan Greenberg established the Company in order to provide high-end multimedia services to the newly forming local market. After developing an interactive marketing system for the Israeli Military Industry and a large scale Computer Based Training (CBT) program for Scitex, Click! established itself as one of the leading multimedia companies in Israel. In mid-1993, the Company expanded its activities to develop interactive multimedia titles. Click! developed for Apple's MAC Expo in Israel a CD-ROM and Kiosk covering new products and introducing all companies that participated in the show. This CD-ROM lead to a long-term relationship with Pixel Multimedia Ltd. who contracted Click! to work on more than half of the projects initiated in 1994 at Pixel. During 1994, the Company expanded and improved its IM development capacity. Three new IM projects were conceptualized and developed in a combination of self-initiated/self-funded titles and work-for-hire development contracts. These contracts included the NFL title (co-developed with Pixel), A Disciple's Diary, (which was developed entirely in-house at Click! for Hed-Arzi Multimedia and Pixel and is being distributed by Nelson-Word Interactive in the US), and the ACCS project (for IBM and NME which has been installed in Germany, Austria and Switzerland). In 1995 Click! developed 5 new IM projects for CD-ROM and Internet and at the end of the year initiated 2 projects together with Bitan United Multimedia, which are also partially self financed and owned by Click!.
In 1996 Click! developed the award winning CD-ROM "Lights Out 3D", awarded "Best Puzzle Game of the Year" by Games Magazine. The same year Click! initiated together with Values Vivid Productions a sci-fi Quest called "Freeport". This game will be developed as an Internet experience in 1997. During Q4 1996 Click! was contracted, again, by Tiger Electronics to develop two new CD-ROM titles called "Dear E Diary" and "Henry". Click! was also contracted by The Learning Company (formerly Softkey International - one of the largest Software publishers in the world which includes the learning company, MECC, Softkey and Compton's) to develop an Internet environment that will be installed on all of their titles throughout 1997. In December 1996 Click! initiated its own Internet Gaming environment, called "ClickToPlay", that will introduce classic games and original content.
In 1998 Click developed the Israeli air force official 50th anniversary CD ROM which is being distributed by Electronic arts. The same year Click developed an Online multi player virtual casino using credit card transactions called 3WCasino.com. |
