A completely different topic and back to what would be helpful: The edit function is nice, but why can't we have what one does in word processing programs? In a long posting, particularly a PM explaining something, one checks the errors and then has to remember where they were to fix them. No wonder there are so many unedited postings!

Help! Why can't we see the errors and have the opportunity to correct them, if they are errors and not intended, on the fly? Are there technical difficulties?
