Yes, Jon, I suppose that technically you are partially correct. As I interpreted what led to the list, the point was still to get some answers to questions about the company. However, I believe you are incorrect when you say, "Nobody even suggested asking the questions of anyone else." See excerpt from Yahoo! post 11457 below.
Because of his relationship with Pat Hayton, Party volunteered to forward, mail -
"...sincere, concise and, above all, reasonable [questions] -- .... not ..... questions dressed as darts"
I believe the above taken from Yahoo! post # 11476 shows that the following statement to Party in SI post #17270 to be untrue:
"The rules have been made-up after the fact."
Unless, those weren't the rules you were referring to, your statement is false.
The following are excerpts from the sequence of Yahoo! posts that led to compilation of the list:
11457 Party Time "how many of the names above have attempted to contact, directly or indirectly, Mr. Robert Chmiel to ask him why he came on board?"
11471 HIGHPLANESDRIFTER "I'm unlikely to telephone from the east coast, even for the prospect of supporting my "negative" position, but a west coaster might find the exercise interesting ... ..."
11472 Random983 "Ten cents a minute Nickel on Sundays. NO excuse.......Do it. Report back."
11473 Brady__00 "Let's all send Party a calling card for say $5. Let him ask our questions and repor back."
11476 Party Time "Go ahead, Brady-- Organize two questions each from the threadsters. Recommend they be sincere, concise and, above all, reasonable--I will not forward questions dressed as darts. So, Brady, compile this together, and I'll gladly mail them addressed to Pat Hayton of Zulu, from myself. I'll submit them under the title of: Questions from Shareholders."
