Frank,

Let's wait and see how rugged the built-in clik! drive truly is before proclaiming lost flash sales due to it. It has to be insensitive to motion when used in a digital camera, pda, ... I know, I wouldn't like delays every time I moved because the heads pulled into a safe position. Solid state memory is the future, the only advantage clik! has now is the disk price of $10 (when bought in ten packs). Don't forget you still need to buy the drive for another $200 also.

Therefore, I don't see the external clik! as a serious threat to solid state memory. It may have a separate market temporarily (until solid state memory comes down in price) of transferring data from flash memory.

I'm anxiously awaiting a clik! built-in camera to evaluate it's performance. It just has too many technical hurdles to overcome, such as power and motion. Hope this helps.
