in case you missed it... carl, ahead of such massive sales: 1. ingram micro - the largest pc distributor - reports a huge eps shortfall 2. muei has WEAK sales 3. inacom - the largest corp pc reseller - disappoints 4. gtw says sales for oct and nov were weak - and given their history of out and out misleading everyone - sales MUST be REALLY poor. 5. hwp lowered corp pcs as much as 20% even though they can't grow earnings. 6. toshiba lowered their laptop prices 14%. all this BEFORE xmas was even out. now, which of these bits of evidence supports your conclusion and which ones defy your conclusion? lazlo says mu earns a paltry 36 pennies in 1999. watch what you pay $50+ for, imho...
