Morning Preston ~

I have many questions about various items at the Trading Patterns section on the DWA Wedsite (which doesn't come with instructions):

1) If a chart (ie QWST, SE, CCL, CMB, TLAB, etc) has a positive breakout (ie Bear Sig Rev, DT, QT, TT, Bull Cat, Bull Triangle, Bull Shakeout), but has any of the following "Trend/Momentum/#Wks" signals - does it make any difference and would you be inclined to buy one stk vs the other if they each had these signals and everything else was identical:
- - 3
+ - 3
- + 3
+ + 3
+ + 10 (if 7 wks is the avg, then isn't this extended?)
+ + 0

2) I understand that RS is a sign of whether the stk is performing better than the DOW. However, how could Dupont (DD) which just had a Pos Brkout, have a RS Sell at the same time? Esp when DD has been in a downtrend to sideways pattern since 5/20/98 & obviously hasn't kept up with the DOW. And all this occurs at a time when it appears that DD just put in a DB?

3) In any stk's RS screen, if you hit on the word "RS", it links to the RS Chart "Values". Is there any reason why some dates are highlighted? I'm obviously overlooking the obvious here, so forgive me.

4) On 12/21/98 EGGS had a TT, on 12/24/98 it had a Bull Catapult.
On 12/24 EGGS' Momentum Reversed Neg at the same time it had a Pos Brkout.
How is a Neg Momo possible? And could that ever be the first sign of a sell signal?
Of course, we all know that EGGS is a BUY because it's going to be a BSB. So forgive me OJ, this is the only stk I could think of to use as an example.

5) Which of the BEARISH signals are usually the first to show signs of a turn around? I was thinking perhaps a Bear Cat or Bear Triangle. Or is it all predicated on the stk closest to piercing the BRL on the upside?

My training wheels are still intact!
Anything you can contribute to help me see the light more clearly would be greatly appreciated.

TIA
Tiger
