buy msft & back up with stop sell orders a few 4s down, wait for trial to end

Personally I have never tried such strategies. I just try to find a good price to buy stock and hold til I think upside is gone. In the case of options, I just try to time it - get in just before a spike upward. Personally I think there will be a steady rise except in the final week to earnings. I am expecting a sharp rise after January 5 til earnings. The trial moves forward on Jan 4 --- and there won't be very nice words from INTUIT. May hold stock down a day or so.
The DOJ is expected to rest its case in the first couple of weeks in January. This could cause a big push upward. A major move could happen just around earnings (before and after- especially if stock split).
I would be surprised if the stock does not hit at least 170 by mid February. Just my guess.
