Mike, Customers have always shared in the cost of catalogues. Many charged directly and all added the costs to the merchandise.

The problem I see is that if you got Sears, Wards and Spiegel catalogues back in the old days, you had 3 price comparisons for what were usually different brand names. Now, you have 100 price comparisons for the same brand names. That takes profit margin and squeezes it like an accordion meeting The Terminator. <G> These guys will never make money, especially with their huge advertising budgets.
