<<I was wondering what people on this board think will happen with ATHM and AOL?>>

I think this would be an absolute home run. AOL's biggest
downfall is the pathetic 28.8 connection via the phone lines.
If you give them them the speed of cable broadband, there is
no limit to the content potential. I would rush to buy even
more AOL stock. Jeez, they could offer AOL broadband, and AOL
"lite" for those without access to cable. They could do all kinds
of push stuff, and have lots of multimedia and streaming video.

But is this possible? Isn't @home owned by TCI? Will the cable
service providers allow AOL to control the @home service and roll
it out via their networks?

I don't know whether this is possible, but if it is, look out.
