You know, I tried to respond @ 2:32. I think SI response time is for the birds. I could not even read your message without logging off and back on again. Well, your friend from Newark had to be doing extra-curricular work in the Springfield Avenue area during the summer. Unlikely if he was white. Eh, I agree. In some ways the sixties were better. In all ways, taken together, I believe the times we have are always better than the times we had. I suppose I'm the type of person that believes in change, perhaps I'm correct and perhaps not. Perhaps "change" was part of the 60s vocabulary and I never lost that vocabulary, I don't know. Not to get sloppy about it, but I do think I'm a better person for those days.
