*** Contest status--DJIA and S&P 500 ***
With the DJIA currently at 9218, Justa's estimate of 9200 is closest.
With the S&P500 currently at 1226, Marc Ultra's estimate of 1228 is closest.

We're still below the Avg (9303) and Median (9387) of the DJIA predictions. The S&P500 has outperformed the DJIA since the predictions were taken; at 1226, we are already above the average estimate of 1217.

Perhaps this week Lars will be composing an elaborate post to honor the winner(s), and working on packing the prize for prompt Fedex shipment. (Let's hope that Lars himself, with an S&P500 prediction of 1172, is not the winner). Four more trading days--we'll see what happens.
