Tomato, you are of course correct. My return over the past 30 years is greater than Buffett's. But then, I started with much, much less money than he, and when he invests he moves markets. He also has expenses associated with various vehicles -- BRK, partnerships and so forth require a staff, legal documents, filings etc. So I don't asking about the small investor is a fair comparison.

But let me ask this: who is the greater investor -- Bill Gates who started a company from scratch, or WEB? How about people like Steve Jobs?
