As for NXTL, I like the pedigree(McCaw and Motorola) 2)IFMX..Price 8 1/4 for 1212 shares..Fallen angel with new management with their mind on business and not billboards. 3) GLM....9 3/16 for 1088 shares. Being a Texan, you have to believe that oil will rebound. 4)SUMX...9 13/16 for 1019 shares. Is plastic the future! At least with SUMX you have a company growing at a fantastic rate and trading just a little above book value. 5) GLGC....6.00 for 1667 shares. This should be the year that biotechs finally start delivering the new drugs and a gene company like GLGC should help speed up the process for all major drug companies in the future. 6) XOMA....3 3/32 for 3232 shares. For the sake of many individuals from around the world that might suffer from the conditions that XOMA is working on new drugs, lets hope they get it right this time. The first two letters of their name tell-it-all. Either they will multiply(X) or (O) will be the share value at the end of 1999. I believe it will be (X). 7) CTRX---1 5/8 for 6154 shares. Phase II tests going well and an alliance with another major drug company should be forthcoming soon. 8) BONZ...5 3/16 for 1928 shares. Aging population, therefore, more brittle bones to mend. Plus they already have revenue products. 9) LGND...10 1/2 for 952 shares. Time to deliver the goods and it will be Targretin for breast cancer. In the interim, Panetrin and Ontak will pay the light bill. Robinson! Deliver or look for an island like Elba. 10) Vanguard European Fund.....25.67 for 390 shares. Euro dollar will make an impact on American markets for the short term so it would be foolish to ignore the potential for the European markets for the first six months of 1999.
