Ok I got a few questions.
While I think most of us agree( me included) that we can not have a state religion, or forced religion(even God the creator does not force Himself on us) I have a question or two, because I do not separate my life into compartments, such as Christian, citizen, whatever , whatever. It is only Christian.
Go back and read Matthew, did not even Jesus speak very sharply to the teachers of the law and the Pharisees ,etc for rejecting him? Did he not even call them snakes and a brood of vipers and hypocrites? WHY?
And what about the revelation of Jesus to the churches. to the churches at Smyrna and Philidelphia. What is this?:
Rev. 2:
8 "To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of him who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again.
9 I know your afflictions and your poverty--yet you are rich! I know the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
Rev.3:
7 "To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.
8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
9 I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars--I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.
What good does even Jesus speak of the Jews that are rejecting Him?
These are real questions, so don't come back and tell me I hate Jews, I do not. Because of their unbelief I am saved. But what I am saying I quote from the Bible.
(and you know DLL and Alan and Nancy I am not talking about being Jewish by birth, don't you?)
