With regard to hydrogen peroxide, you're right, of course. We even have a bottle of the stuff, but I don't usually treat wounds with it (I know, stupid huh). I usually just wash it off and slap a band-aid on it if it is bleeding. Otherwise, I leave it as is. I can't even remember the last time I had a tetnis shot. I don't mind the 1 1/2" or smaller needles, but longer than that, and I'm all for taking my chances.

I don't usually shed tears in pain any more. Its movies with dramatic endings that gets me. "A Thousand Acres" just tore me up right after I saw Michele Phiffer in that hospital bed at the end. I started imagining S.J. there and what it would be like to be without her in my life.

Just couldn't choke that one back so I just let it go. Funny, but it felt kind of good (not that I'd care to do it more often, mind you).

Mike
