Thanks for the reply. I talked to Keith Schaefer a few weeks ago for some background on Longyear which he courteously supplied. He is now away for the holidays and will be back January 4th.

My question about EGD price rise was based on a sad/happy reason. I've been happily picking up the stock at .52 for the past few weeks. Sadly I had hoped to get a lot more before the price went up.

In my book, Energold has looked like a bargain. It's chart shows a climb from a bottom which formed after a long steady decline. The company now has 2 good exploration projects with drilling to get underway in January. Meanwhile trading has been slow and as proved by the recent price increase, still little supply or volume even at .65 - .70 cents.

I've been an Atna follower for sometime and have a high regard for their abilities. If they are spending serious money exploring a property optioned from EGD, I'm betting the possibilities are good. However, with drilling also about to commence on the Longyear property now 100% owned by EGD, I think EGD shares are the way to participate in this play. You get 2 good programs with one stock.

That's why I was buying and if they ease back, I'll buy more. Maybe I'll even buy more at these higher prices, we'll see, but I was really happy trolling along at .52 cents and getting some nice catches. Maybe other people are discovering this fishing hole.

Thanks again for your reply. Here's hoping '99 will be a really good year.
