What you may call preconceived ideas for me are actually the results of years of searching and sifting and waiting for the truth.

Are you willing to accept the possibility that others may spend years searching and sifting, and come up with conclusions that are quite different from yours? Or that those conclusions might be as valid as yours? I don't claim that your way isn't right for you; it obviously is. What I dispute is the assumption that it must therefore be right for everyone, and that the results of other people's searching and sifting are somehow less inherently valid than the results of yours.

I started over 20 years ago with a clean slate.

An interesting claim, unless you are referring to your birth. I don't think any of us get out of infancy with a clean slate.
