compaq has just started this initiative, and by their own admission, direct sales, whiole better than expected, are not significant overall. Rude has tried to explain to me how it is possible for cpq to be doing quite well, while their largest resellers aren;t...It still bothers me nonetheless. Since I am very long, I will hope for the best for the time being.
