Hi Lynn. I don't know about it being jet fuel but 1K is the only kerosene generally available in Canada as far as I can tell. It sells for about $1.10 per liter over twice the price of gasoline--at the moment. 1 liter burns for about 4 hours in a 10 000 BTU kerosene heater.
