Hello Dan, I believe any computer you purchase at Circuit City can have the Mediaone Package installed. The advantage is you pay $ 249. You get the modem and the card and the software preinstalled in your new computer. You do not have to pay Mediaone for the installation. You do not have to wait for their tech. to come to your house. They give you a four-hour window for the installation. You do not have to pay for the rental fees for Mediaone equipment. You can plug it into any working cable jack and you are up and running. The downside is: What if Mediaone upgrades the modems, you're stuck with the old one. If the modem breaks who fixes it Mediaone or Circuit City.
