Joe, IVAC is the hands down winner in terms of sputter deposition equipment for the newest iterations of thin-film media. Seagate, HMT, Fujitsu, and Showa Denko all use their systems. The notable hold outs are Mitsubishi Chemical, IBM, and Komag. The problems here have been the over capacity which is especially acute in media production. The recovery in disk drives, if it is sustainable, will help these guys a lot IMO but we need to see the supply/demand equation improve from here. IVAC has one of the best management teams in the biz, IMO, and are financially managed very well. I like them for the long haul and believe they will survive well, especially with Fujitsu continuing to expand. Best, Stitch
