Glenn, I have decided to cash in my puts and go long for the next 3 days. After listening to CNBC for only 10 minutes this morning, the only thing they are talking about is record internet sales and roaring internet stocks. All the analysts are singing their praises. Of course, no hard numbers are given, only "300 percent more than last year" type quotes. No mention of any of that volume generating profits. In fact, the CEO of PCConnection was just on and he said he couldnt mention anything specific because he was in an "earnings quiet period".. That didnt stop him from saying this quarter would be great compared to last year.

Unfortunately, there are no news stories at _ALL_, nothing, other than to discuss the internet stocks, and there should be no selling pressure until next year.

The SG Cowen analyst is on CNBC right now saying that the internet is a complete financial revolution. I expect all the major analysts with no morals to be fully in pimp-mode for this week. A 40% rise in most of these issues is almost a given.

But on thursday before the close, I'll switch back to being fully short.
