Well....it has been said that all bear markets have their own particular style......if so, then what we saw this year was phase I....... so what have we learned from phase I....if anything....and what will or has signaled phase II.....

Phase I....certainly proved you can be extremely right....and get it wrong on both sides (up or down) of this bear market..... sadly....I have nothing even close to rational which I could add beyond that at the moment....

Wall St Journal reported today that short interest fell on the ny and otc over 2 %....... in the most recent period...

CRB....closed at 189 and change before the holiday..... its fall earlier in the year predicted the october sell-off....hmmm....is it predicting anything now..... many are looking and saying there are bottoms forming in commodities...... but not much else.

CSCO is now valued at 100 times its future earnings....cheap compared to aol, yahoo, and amzn......... CSCO's price target was raised to 120....without an increase in the net earnings estimate....today's Wall St. Journal..... bah humbug.
