MSFT is to eat AOL's lunch
I think this is pretty naive. Just how do you imagine MSFT will do that? AOL has dominant share and spectacular growth, also is very nimble. They are not 'another internet company'.

The barrier is just too low
A fundamental misunderstanding of AOL's business advantage. The big get bigger. AOL has the eyeballs, so they attract the advertisers, cross-licensing deals, and content, so more people go there, so they get bigger. Do you have any idea what AOL's share is in this business?
