David; They make it clear when they release the quarterly up dates that the weighting for each company is in proportion to it's cap percentage of the total market cap. They don't make it clear how often they adjust the weighting between times, but I'm sure they do. However I'm not sure about the base time period they use, I just haven't found a very good official or detailed report on it as to clear it up in my own mind. Jim
