Roy, I believe you can buy up to the day before the split and still get your shares split. Ie buy 100 on May 19 and you'll have 200 on may 20 (the 20th is the split date isn't it?). The only difference, if I racall, is in the paperwork that your broker has to do. If this weren't the case, then all who bought between the 6th and the 19th would lose half their money. Ken
