>>>I thought about it for two seconds and came up with this answer. NOT!!!!!!<<<
Right On. #1. If Christ was not, STILL, interceding at the right hand of the Father we would be 'sunk'. #2. We are, STILL, not perfected except in Christ, and therefore w/o Christ we are 'sunk'.#3. Our victory, our deliverance or our answer IS NOT in our faith, but in the object of our faith, Jesus Christ, who is WORTHY of our praises and thanksgiving and glory. #4. We wouldn't have the faith to begin with if God wasn't the author and finisher of our faith.
Brother , my deliverance is in my hope that Jesus is still at the right hand of the Father. In my hope that, in Christ, I have power over evil. In my hope that the Holy Spirit will lead and guide in all truth. In my hope that He who is in me is greater. Period.
Funny how Christians will trust God , through Christ, for salvation or justification,( they feel they have no choice but to ) but not for that sanctification. They want to do that on their own through their own faith or works. Sorry , but I feel the same God that saves me and makes me righteous in His eyes can also sanctify me in the process of time or instantaneously, whichever He may choose. In Christ.gregor |
