I was reading an article on Priceline.com having an IPO and was somewhat stunned to read the last line of the story. How can they use the symbol PRLN if Paracelsian already is using it?

Priceline.com files IPO to raise $115 million

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Priceline.com Inc., an Internet commerce
company, said Wednesday it had filed with the Securities and Exchange
Commission to raise $115 million through an initial public offering of common stock.

The Stamford, Conn.-based company did not estimate a price per share or the number of shares if would offer.

Priceline.com provides a service that allows consumers to name their own price for a range of goods and services. The offers are then sent to participating companies or matched up with lists provided by sellers.

The company was launched in April this year with the sale of airline tickets and it has since tested its concept on cars and hotel rooms, the filing said.

Underwriters were named as Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, BancBoston
Robertson Stephens, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette and Merrill Lynch &
Co. These firms were given the right to purchase an unspecified number of extra share to cover over- allotments.

The primary purpose of the offering was to obtain additional capital,
Priceline said. It planned to apply for quotation on the Nasdaq market under the symbol ''PRLN.''
